The Kobe 8 footwear and apparel collection for the Kobe 8 signature line required a robust visual center that evolved over the course of a year. Working cross-functionally with the footwear and color team, I helped drive a consistent visual language for graphics. The concept reflected Kobe’s insight of wanting a systemic, utilitarian approach to his product. Meaning different pieces of the collection could be interchanged to adapt to his game or environment. It is was also the first time the apparel collection had been included in the launch event.

Inspired by a Blade Runner-esque vibe, the visual language reflected a futuristic utilitarian aesthetic.
